Cannot manage serial interface with bridge-group configured

Hi,

I can't seem to manage thru Ciscoworks LMS 3.0 routers that are configured with:

Router A:

interface s0/0

no ip address

encapsulation frame-relay IETF

frame-relay lmi-type ansi

bridge-group 1

interface s0/0.1

frame-relay interface-dlci 30

bridge-group 1

Router B:

interface s0/0

no ip address

encapsulation frame-relay IETF

frame-relay lmi-type ansi

bridge-group 1

interface s0/0.1

frame-relay interface-dlci 30

bridge-group 1

Router A and B are connected via their serial interfaces. We tried shutting down one side of the connection but DFM can't seem to see that the connection is down, and no logs were created under Alerts and Activities thus no email notification was sent out. Under DFM>Device Management>Device Details and on Device detail view replaced the Managed state to "true" for the subinterfaces of both routers but didn't get any logs.

Is Ciscoworks capable of managing serial interfaces configured that way as seen on the above configuration?

When you replace the Managed state of a port of a device to "true" does this mean that Ciscoworks will also monitor the status of that port? Even if the device connected on that port is a server?
