Hi,
Sorry, I not sure whether this is the correct place to post this question.
I have a server S1 and a load balancer connected to a CISCO switch and a server S2 connected to the load balancer.
The problem is when I tried to telnet from S1 to S2 phyiscal IP address and port, sometimes telnet can be established sometimes it can't. Why is so? There is no configuration on load balancer. I was trying to bypass the load balancer. The error I got is TCP/IP 10054.
Thank you

Topology:
S1----------------|
SW2------LB-------|----switch
You are trying to route from S1 to S2 through the switch and through the LB?
How do you bypass the Load Balancer if the server is connected to it?
Does the server have 2 NIC's?

Hi,
No S1 is only connected to the switch. What I meant is the Load Balancer acting as a switch not load balancing.
Thanks.
