hi there, I have set up call manager v6 business edition and all is fine apart from the directory. When pressing the directory key on a 7941 the message host not found appears and you cannot see any of the configured users. Anyone got any pointers as I cannot find anything on CCO. many thanks.

Hi Carl,
Usually when you see this message the problem exists in the way the Directory URL has been configured. If you are using the CCM Hostname in the URL try replacing this with the IP Address instead. This is related to DNS issues.
Check this setting in the Enterprise Parameters.

thanks Rob, will give that a try. I need to restart the services, so may need to do this OOH.

Most likely a DNS issue. If you do not use DNS then you'll have to configure the "URL Directories" field in the Enterprise Parameters with the URL containing the ipaddr of the server and not the name.
