We have Supervisor V-10GE and I am looking to purchase the correct kit to connect using the 10Gb interfaces.
The 2 switches I am connecting are next to each other and I think that the following interface is correct.
X2-10GB-CX4
But I am not sure what cable I need to purchase? Could someone please advise?

Hi,
You can buy a connecting cable from Cisco, part numbers (starting CAB-INF) at the bottom of the page here:
Although this is probably the cheapest option the distance is limited to a max of 15m so if you think you might move them further apart than this then maybe a fibre connection would be a better investment.
HTH - plz rate useful posts (not just mine!)

Thanks for the cable advice.
Just one further question...
Each port provides 10Gb; would it be also possible to Etherchannel this connection if required?

There should be no problem with using both 10GE links in a channel, although there is a probably a minimum IOS version required.
