What type of cable toi be used for Outdoor mesh AP?
Vendor gave a quote to buy 4P 24GA CAT5E RISER BLUE 1KFTPB. Not sure what r the standards?

Hi Prasanna,
The cable that was quoted appears to be Indoor cable :( The word "Riser" indicates this fact. Here is what Cisco recommends;
Ethernet Cable
The Cisco Aironet 1500 Series Outdoor Ethernet Cable is used to connect the access point to the network when a network connection is available, such as when the access point is installed on the roof of a building. The Ethernet cable plugs into the Cisco Aironet 1500 Series Power Injector. Table 4 shows the part number for the Cisco Aironet 1500 Series Outdoor Ethernet Cable.

AIR-ETH1500-150 =
