Hi all,

Scenario:

LAN A (172.16.20.0/24) --> ASA-A <-L2L Tunnel-> ASA-B <--LAN B (192.168.20.0/24)

Now, From LAN A PC , I want to Telnet to INSIDE interface of LAN B ASA (192.168.20.1).

telnet 172.16.20.0 255.255.255. INSIDE

is enabled on ASA B.

Still unable to telnet eighter way. Same thing from LAN B PC to LAN A.

Any suggestions on how can we work out the telnet.

Thank you in advance

Hi,

You will also need the following command:

management-access inside

Good Luck!

That is already existing on both ASAs.

Any other ideas..??

Thank you

Hi All,

its bug in ASA IOS. Per cisc 7.2.3 is more stable.

Thank you

MS

I suspect you logged a TAC case and got a reply. Could you post your code version for ref please?

Thanks

Thats correct. The IOS is 7.0 (7), but most 7.0 train is effected. I have ASA with 7.2.3... no isues. So per TAC suggestion also, 7.2.3 looks more stable.
