If you have just one internet link then i am afraid there aren't any possibilities of redundancy.

If you get another internet link, then you can terminate each connection onto one router and run HSRP on the lan

Hi,

If you have a single Internet connection which is connected with a particular (Primary) 2800 router, then it's not possible to go for fail over. If you have two Internet connection & if it is separately connected with the two no of 2800 Router individually then its possible.

Internet_connection_1>Cisco 2800 router_1---- Switch_1---- LAN_Users

Internet_connection_2>Cisco 2800 router_2---- Switch_1---- LAN_Users

With this scenario, you can configure GLBP/HSRP/RSVP for fail over concept. Where if one Internet link goes down it will not hamper your Enterprise also if one Router goes down it will also not effect your users.

Thanks

Goutam
