My customer has an ASA5510-BUN-K9 with a SSM-4GE card.
He is presently using 8 + 1 ports and he need 1 more port for additional purpose.
May he use the eight ports of the SSM-4GE ports ?
Is there a possibility to have more than 9 ports on an ASA without using VLANs with 802.1Q ?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Patrice,
As long I know, that's not posible, 'cause they're physically 8 ports in a SSM-4GE, but only 4 ports can be used simultaneously for fiber Optics with the SFP or copper with the UTP options.
Unless there is a hack that I don't know of.

Effectively, documents notices that.
But, it seems that with Security Plus License, you could use 3 FastEthernet and 2 GigaEthernet ports on SSM-4GE, but I'm waiting for a confirmation from Cisco.
