Question about Monitoring the Ciscoworks Server

Hi, we currently have HP OpenView Release B.06.31 and will be complementing this NMS with CiscoWorks LMS3.0.1.

Is there an actual CiscoWorks MIB that can be loaded on the OpenView that would provide simple status on the applications within CiscoWorks? I've seen a 3rd party software but am only interested in what OpenView can/can't do.

We don't register any MIB modules with an OS SNMP agent. However, both supported OSes have their own SNMP agents, and they will not conflict with LMS. Therefore, you can run the OS SNMP agent, and monitor the server in NNM as you would any other node on the network. You just won't get any CiscoWorks-specific MIB objects.
