Transfer Retrieval

as customer asked if we can provide this on the CCM systems

"Recovery of Mis-operation of Transferred Calls

Prevents external calls from being dropped die to a station user's incorrect operation of transfer feature"

im assuming they are talking about if the operator sends the call to the incorrect location, she/he has the ability to pull that call back. supervisory transfer will kinda do that, but i think they are more talking about a blind transfer scenario and the operator is able to follow the call through.

i could have sworn i read that it was in 6.x or was coming or something like that.


I have this problem too.

Hi Arvind,

This feature is available in CCM 4.3,5.x and 6.x with the Cisco Unified Department Attendant Console. It is not available via any other mechanism so far.

Transfer Reversion (Call Recall)

This allows a transferred call to revert back to the department administrator so that it can be answered and then transferred to a new destination.
