Is the bootflash: and cat4000_flash: different partitions or are in a different flash system alltogether?E.g. if i need to upgrade/replace the flash on the Sup II+,will i lose the bootflash and the cat4000_flash filesystem or just one of them?

AFAIK, nothing on the SupII+'s board is upgradeable. I'm not even sure that the memory module, while removable, is classified field replaceable. The only way to add storage to the SupII+ is to insert a 64/128MB (MEM-C4K-FLD64M/MEM-C4K-FLD128M) CF card.

My main query is whether the bootflash: and the cat4000_flash: are different file systems or are just two different partitions of the same file system.
