Setting 7921 Web Access on CME 4.2

MICHAEL CARTER

I need to make changes to the 7921 wireless config, however the 7921 phones register by default with Web Access set to Read Only - can this be set to Full access in the CME config?

Yours sincerely,

Michael.

The exact string for setting the access to the Webpage of 7921G:

0

The options are:

0 = Full (Read and Configure)

1 = Disabled

2 = Read Only

Hi rrjoas45 - do you know any other 7921G-specific configuration options for the *.cnf.xml file? I'm trying to configure these phones for Asterisk and can't get either speed dials to load or access to the phone book using the Web Phone Book utility. Other than that the phones work perfectly.

Hi,

That doesn't work for me.

Any idea ?

Bye.

There are some places in the documentation where they mix small and capital letters, webAccess vs. WebAccess. Also, for CME 4.0 and above there is a command for per phone cnf files you need. A working configuration is:

ephone-template 1

service phone adminPassword cisco

service phone webAccess 0

telephony-service

cnf-file perphone
