Hi.
I have customer with unity UM-4.0.3. Trying to run a DIRT backup to external box in preperation for a 5.1 upgrade.
I can run DIRT fine to an internal drive but when I try to run to the external folder it fails. Log file is blank with "cannot reach network source" window pop up.
I'm using the unity install acct to run DIRT. I can go to start>run and map to the folder. Any idea why DIRT can't reach it?
thanks

have you verified that the remote folder has write access? Possible that you have read, but not write, which would allow you to map it, but not create the backup file.
Also not sure if DIRT supports backup to a UNC location.

try checking the "two hop" method for the DIRT so the process does not try to write directly on the remote location

The backup folder is ok. it's same folder callmgr backups are writing to.
Is the 2-hop method necessary if you are not backing up subscriber messages?
