CE500 smartport problem

I got a CE500-24PC with a intermittent smartport error.

I have a wireless bridge between two building with Netgears access points connected to Fa12 of the CE500, and its smartport role is set to switch mode.

The port blink orange for about 30 sec, saying incorrect smartport role and goes back to green for 30 sec. steadily.

I tried access point, desktop, server, role. and it still doing the same error.

Anybody have an idea ?

I also have this issue, i tried to change the smartport role of Gi2 from server to other to resolve the connection limit issue. But the port always deactivate himself in other mode.

This port is connected to a Gigabit Ethernet Card on a IBM x series server.

Catalyst Express 500 series switches have a number of Smartport roles. Each port role is just a configuration template. With these templates, users can consistently and reliably configure essential security, availably, and QoS features with minimal effort and expertise. Smartport roles simplify the configuration of critical features.
