Cisco Router & Security Device Manager - (SDM) Supported Devices/Alternativ

I am studying network security methodology. Configuring switches requires knowledge of many disconnected CLI-based commands. DHCP Snooping is poorly described in books or on line.

I looked at the autosecure command, very interesting new command to implement basic commands on supported devices and IOS versions. Not many supported yet though.

I looked at Cisco Router & Security Device Manager - (SDM). It only works with routers, not switches or MLS.

Any good templates or tools out there that would work on 3550s, 3750s, 2950s, 4500s, 6500s? thx

Cisco works will help you in management of the cisco switches, although it does not has wizards like the SDM but it is a more powerful tool for configuration and management of cisco devices.
