configuring Vlans on cisco 520 switch for voice and data

hi,

I have build a small Voip setup in which i am connecting DHCP,Call manager and IP phones to Cisco 520 switch.

Can any one help me which PORT role will be allocated to which device on Cisco 520 switch so i will know which device is in which Vlan.

Ese "desktop + phone", for the phones. Note you need to create the voice vlan in another page, is not there by default.

hi,

my current scenrio is

Devices Port Role

Connected to Ip phone Ip phone+desktop

(Vlan 2 voice,Vlan3)

Call manager(vlan3) server

DHCP (vlan 3) router

When IP phone reboot it havnt able to get Ip from DHCP.

please help me out.

Place call manager in vlan 2

Change dhcp role to server, keep vlan 3.

When i change DHCP port role to server it gives me error wrong port roles assigned .
