CS-MARS console

it's some question about console problem in CS-MARS.

I know CS-MARS provide direct console, DB9 console, SSH, Https for admin the CS-MARS. But all console is not working in the MARS 100 of my office. And there are no light in power indicator after reset or power on. I guess some problem with hardware in the MARS but I can't monitor and analyse it since any console I tried was not working. Is there any solution to connect the device and monitor via console?

Hi Pyung,

If your electrical power source is working and you don't hear a fan then your box is dead. The power indicator light and the sound of a fan are two good ways to determine if your box needs to be returned.

Don't bother trying to repair the hardware yourself, especially if you have a maintenance contract with Cisco. The time you save not troubleshooting the hardware would be better spent learning how a fully operational box works on your network.
