Unity access unde SRST mode?

If callmanager goes down (but Unity still up) can phones at both local site and remote site now running in SRST mode (not CME) still access Unity? In this scenario, the WAN is still up, but the single call manager has went down.

In essence there would be no CTI integration to Unity from SRST routers. Is it possible to simply send the DTMF tones to Unity via appropriate dial-peers ?

Or for this type of scenario to happen do we need to run CME for SRST and complete a CME to Unity integration?

thanks in advance,

Jerry:

I guess

For the local site you would have to create another UTIM, but when you are adding you have to select CUCME checkbox,

For the remote site you would have to create dial-peers for and define VM Pilot as 10-digit number under the telephony-service

Check this document from cisco for more reference.

What i'm looking to understand is a bit different. Unity will be at main site. Callmanager goes down but Unity is still up as is the WAN. Remote site goes into SRST mode. Can the phones at the remote site in traditionaly SRST mode (not using CME for SRST) call into unity voicemail sysytem? There would be no CTI connectivity.
