Reason 412: The remote peer is no longer responding

Unanswered Question

I am running a Cisco VPN on my PIX 515e firewall with IOS 6.3 <5> software on it. Over the weekend I cut over to a new T-1 circuit and the IP address on my outside interface changed. I am now not able to connect to my VPN and I get the message:

Reason 412: The remote peer is no longer responding

There is nothing in the access-list that is blocking VPN and is was working fine before I changed the IP address. Does anyone have any ideas on what else may need to be changed?

I have this problem too.

This document contains the most common solutions to IPsec VPN problems. These solutions come directly from service requests that the Cisco Technical Support have solved. Many of these solutions can be implemented prior to the in-depth troubleshooting of an IPsec VPN connection. As a result, this document is presented as a checklist of common procedures to try before you begin to troubleshoot a connection and call Cisco Technical Support.
