SLA monitor has no such restriction with relation to multiple contexts on ASA. Following links may help you

Hi,
I also have the same issue. We are running an ASA 5520 7.2(4) in multiple context mode. I cannot enter the "sla monitor" command, as it is not recognised.
The only reference I can find regarding SLA monitor setup, is concerning the ASA 8.0 code.
Problem:
SLA monitoring does not work after the ASA is upgrade to version 8.0.
Solution:
The problem is possibly be due to the IP Reverse-Path command configured in the OUTSIDE interface. Remove the command in ASA and try to check the SLA Monitoring.
Apologies if I am missing something blindingly obvious, however does anyone know why the command's don't seem to be recognised on our setup (multiple context, 7.2(4)?
Thank you for your help,
Kris

If you read this command reference link for sla monitor:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa82/command/reference/s8.html#wp1506676
It is only supported in single routed mode. See the table.
The following table shows the modes in which you can enter the command:
Command Mode | Firewall Mode | Security Context | |||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Routed | Transparent | Single | Multiple | ||
Context | System | ||||
Global configuration | • | — | • | — | — |
