Not opening Device center in LMS 2.5

When PIX 535 is added to LMS ,it generates *.dbf files .due to this more hard disk space is utilised .Now there is only 200 mb space is remaining on Hard disk.Removing PIX 535 from LMS is one option then how to delete those *.dbf file to create more space on HDD?

or if we want to keep PIX in LMS then can we delete the backup files?

Is there any procedure to purge the files older than 3 days or take the backup of those files?

To what *.dbf files do you refer? I am not familiar with that extension in relation to LMS.

The machine on which LMS is installed, when pix is added to LMS it is creating syslog1.db of 1 GB ,syslog2.db of 2 GB,syslog3.db of 3 Gb resp and consuming the space on HDD.

The first step will be to add a filter to prevent these unwanted messages from coming into the database in the first place. This is done under RME > Tools > Syslog > Message Filters. Once the messages are no longer coming into the database, you can open a TAC services request and ask for the DBSpaceReclaimer.class. This tool will allow you to purge the syslog data spaces, and reclaim the disk space that is already being used. Then, moving forward, this problem should not reoccur.

Thank you.

Is this DBSpaceReclaimer.class is available at tools and resources in cisco.com?

Is it a free download?

You have to contact the TAC to get it.
