one vlan 100 is showing in my switch by "sh vlan brief" command, but the same vlan is not showing by "show run" command. The vlan is allowed to two ports of the switch.
Vlan information is stored in a separate file called vlan.dat and this is different from the switch configuration file. To view information of the vlan.dat type in 'vlan database' from the privilege exec prompt and do a 'show current'.
Switch must be running transparent mode for it to show up in the show runn command , if it is server or client it won't show up .
