Not getting IP Conflicts in 2950 switch

Hi,

I am using cisco 2950 in my LAN, configure switch-port protected feature to avoide inter port talikng.

Now issue is users connected on two differnt protected port are not able to get IPconflict if they tried to configre same ip.

Instead 1 user start getting RTO. its very difficult to avoide ip duplication.

Please anyone sugest is there any other configration require so that users will get ipconflict

you can also try clearing the Content-Addressable Memory (CAM) table entries using the clear mac-address-table dynamic command
