trust between unity domain and active directory domain

I am trying to create a trust between a unity domain and an active directory domain so that users do not need to memorize 2 passwords. Could someone point me to the documentation? Thanks a bunch.

all the information on how to do that is from Microsoft actually, not from Cisco. We use the domain concept but the procedures are MS
