Hi all, am I correct in saying when you wire switches to switches with fiber, the same rule applies where tx goes to rx on the opposite end etc ?

Yes, the TX from one switch is the RX to the other (one end transmits, the other receives).

FYI, FO also has Auto-MDIX.
But since FO is simplex TX RX, its easy.
Unless you talking about CWDM, DWDM....
