I have a number of remote access groups defined on my 3030. Many of the groups were defined by others. Is there a way to view the passwords defined for each group?

Hi!

There's an option within the concentrators file management to save the config as xml file, which contains the passwords in clear text. (At least for firmware 4.1 - 4.7.)

I am running 4.7.2k. I found the xml export option. I do so and create a file named "file.xml". When I view the file, the passwords are still encrypted.

If you have the profile file with the enc_GroupPwd line... then go to this Web page :

http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~massar/bin/cisco-decode

Using the link, I am able to enter the encrypted group password from the vpn client pcf file (profile). Using the concentrator config file and the encrypted group password, I was not able to decrypt.

Useful, thanks.
