Web Authentication

I am tring to get Web Authentication working for Guest access on a 4402 WLC. I have created a Guest WLAN and under security settings have ticked Web Policy and clicked on the Authentication radio button. The Guest WLAN is pointed to the management interface. I have set the Virtual Interface to IP address 1.1.1.1 but haven't configured a DNS Host Name. Finally I have enabled http for management and disabled https. However when I connect a client to the Guest WLAN I am not being directed to the login page. Also when I go to Management Users to try and set up a Lobby Ambassador account this option is not available, only the standard Read/Write and Read Only options. Can anyone tell me what I have not done?

Hi Terry,

You mentioned that you aren't being directed to the login page, are you getting an error page or just bypassing the login page? Are you setting the wireless users up locally on the WLC or are they authenticating via a radius server?
