My default MOH seems to be working fine, but when I upload new audio sources and set them on either a device or one of its lines, I get dead air. Has anyone else run into this?

MAke sure you upload the files to each MOH server or each CCM Server in which MOH server is enabled

Which file are you using?

Which format?

Can you post it or send it to my email?

gogasca,

I have been using the .wav files from the CUCM 6.0 MOH disc.

Are you using multicast for those resources...and which codec you are using, r u getting dead air or tone on hold?

Any device that may be blocking the audio?

If u can upload the trace i will be more than glad to help you

We are using G.711. No tone on hold, only dead air. Audio is not being blocked because the sample MOH plays fine.

I have similar problem. Can someone clarify how to upload MoH file on each separate server?

I have three CUCM MOH servers in the cluster. I upload the file via CUCM Administraion GUI->Media Resources->MOH audio file management. My understanding is that the file should be replicated to all configured MOH servers in the cluster.

But it seems it isn't. I found this log restarting IP VOice Media Streaming Application service:
12/16/2009 12:19:43.503 VoiceStrm|   CIpVMSMgr::GetAFile *ERROR* Error getting MOH source file, errno=2|<:CUCM><:10.131.3.138><:ERROR><:0002>

<:ALARM><:ALL><:FFFF>

I can see server cannot open audio file when it tries to play audio:
