Hi,

I have set up a small LAB for IPIPGW, i can go through it with G711 but when i begin to manipulate the codec, like using using G729 it does not work.

what i need to do:

1) CCM 1 (G711) IPIPGW (G729) CCM2;

I have transcoding for CCM1, CCM2 and for the IPIPGW running but no luck

2) CCM1 104 calls CCM2 7002 get a busy tone when off hook.

I donno what i am missing???

Hi,

attached are the debugs. i have noticed something during my tests as follow

CCM1 (G711) icoming Dial-Peer IPIPGW (G711)

Outgoing DIal-Peer IPIPGW (G729) CCM1 (G729) this combination works

and i see transcoding done by the IPIPGW from G729 to G711. Why i cannot make CCM1 (ICT as G711)!!!

Sorry it should be CCM2. The other annoying part as well is that when G729 in CCM2 i cannot use the hold, transfer, etc... please note that the MTP is checked for both ICT Non GK controlled.
