AFAIK it doesnt come up with any ip address,you need to configure the same once you populate the boxes with the cards based on the requirement.

Any Network Equipment by default will have Class C Addres: 192.168.0.1 as the Management IP Address.

Nevertheless, you can CONSOLE to the Switch / Router to assign the necessary IP Address you required for Management.

I think that we need to be careful in answering the question from thaar. We should differentiate the behavior of IOS (which as noted in previous posts is that there is not a default address) from the behavior of SDM (which does configure a default address). So from the perspective of thaar and other users if their device came with SDM then it will have a default address but if it came without SDM then there is not a default address. So we need to be careful about the environment of the device as we attempt to answer the question.
