Module removal config stays

If I remove a module from cat65k will the configuration be there of the module?Logically it should loose the config?

Also if I replace STM-1 card or for eg anyother wan card in 76xx will the configuration be there?In the case of replacement it should be there.Any confirmation on this?

Hi

AFAIK you need to reset the switch/router to flush off the config lines related to the card removed.
