I need to copy an IOS software version from my desktop to a catalyst 3750G-12S. How would I go about doing this if the desktop is NOT on the network? thanks!
Connect into the switch on the console port , give the switch an ip address like 192.168.2.X and then set up your nic card with an address in the same address space. Plug your laptop into the switch and then just tftp the file into flash:
