Do Cisco have any products that will do a details call accounting and generate reports for CME/CUE solution. Also for call recording, does Cisco have a solution for CME?

If Cisco does not provide this, what third party call accounting and call recording system will be recommended with CME?

No cisco does not provide these, is a field left to technology partners. I can make some names, other people can add more.

Billing: stonevoice.com

recording: telrex.com

I did not tied any of these products.

Hi Paul,

Hope all is well:)

For a good product to parse CME CDR's you might want to look into Cisco Partner "Stonevoice" that has a nice application for doing up

reports/graphs etc. This will do what you want and more;

For Call Recording;

Telrex

Hope this helps!

EDIT: Paolo, you have once again shown up my inferior typing skills :) Huff

Rob I told you already, is not that I type faster, it's just that I type less :)

Hi,

with using a 3rd party call recording we can get the RTP to the logger by setting up a SPAN on the voice VLAN. Do we still need some sort of CTI user to get call information to the server?

Does anyone know how to do this on Call Manager express?

Regards

Bryan

Paul, if you already have CME/CUE you can record your calls, of course it depends on the free space of the mailboxes of your users. When you are in a call that wants to record, you made a conference with the CUE Live Record Pilot Number, when you finish your call you will receive a voice mail message notification with your conversation.

For more details you can look on this link:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel3_1/administration/guide/voicemail/12advVM.html#wp1016471

For Call Accounting, the solution from Cisco maybe is not what you need, for this look for third parties.

Another good product is by a New Zealand Based comapny called ATEA systems.

http://www.ateasystems.com

it does both call accounting and call recording in the one package.

I think its one of the best presented CDR reports i've seen

*edit* works with both CME and CM

Cheers
