Hi,
I have problem with my Campus Manager installation. The Physical Discrepancy Report show these messages:
Port Fast Enabled on Trunk Port
BPDU-Guard disabled on access ports
BDPU Filter disabled on access ports
But my swicthes are OK. It seems that CM ignore the default configuration:
spanning-tree portfast default
spanning-tree portfast bpduguard default
spanning-tree portfast bpdufilter default
Do you have any idea ?
ps: My Campus version version is 4.0.10. The swicthes are 2950 with IOS 12.1(22)EA11.
Thanks

There was a bug that would account for the two BPDU discrepancies, but that was fixed in CM 4.0.8. A new Campus Data Collection after upgrading to 4.0.8 or higher should have removed those discrepancies. Therefore, it would be helpful to see the running-config from this switch as well as the complete discrepancy details.

Please provide an SNMP Walk starting at c2900PortSpantreeFastStart (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.87.1.4.1.1.36) from this switch.

Hi,
This is the snmp walk that you asked for. I think that the swicth 2950 is sending wrong values.

It sure looks like the switch says you have portfast enabled on Gi0/1 and Gi0/2. Please post a walk of the whole c2900PortTable and a walk of ifDescr.

It looks like a bug when spanning-tree portfast default is enabled. Any port which does not have any explicit portfast configuration is listed as disabled in the C2900-MIB. If a port has spanning tree disabled explicitly, then the MIB reflects its status as enabled.
You can test this by removing the two spanning-tree portfast disabled commands under your trunk ports. After another Campus Data Collection, the discrepancies about portfast being enabled on trunk ports should disappear.
