Unity 4.2 hardware model?

I need to find out which exact 7800 series platform my Unity 4.2 is running on in order to purchase the correct SmartNet for it. However, all I see is 7800 series all over the place and Cisco shows a couple dozen different models. How do I tell which model I have?

Diego,

You can use the Service Contract Center. Go to the following link.

www.cisco.com/go/scc

Click Login to SCC. After logging in do a Quick Search by serial number.

That sounds like a good idea to use the SSC. Problem now is getting the serial number. I ran a report from the SA GUI that says it will include the serial number but it doesn't. I ran a couple other tools but no serial number to be found. Any ideas on how to get the serial?

It should be on the top of the server on a barcoded label.

Wow, I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet and try to pull these things out of the rack! Thanks for the help, I wish there was a better way.

It should be right on the front edge so you shouldn't have to pull it out very far.
