I have a 4.1(3) system on which I am attempting to backup the MLA DB. MLA is version "MultiLevelAdmin.dll 1.0.0.1". I am getting error messages when the "c:\ciscowebs\MLA\install\backup.bat" batch job executes the step for "isql"

C:\CiscoWebs\MLA\install>isql -i backup.sql -U sa -P ********

1> 2> 3> 4> 5> 6> Msg 170, Level 15, State 1, Server SA26-CM-1, Line 4

Line 4: Incorrect syntax near '-'.

Msg 170, Level 15, State 1, Server SA26-CM-1, Line 5

Line 5: Incorrect syntax near '-'.

"isql" is an executable, so I don't know how to go about debugging it. Any ideas?

Thx.

Use the following procedure to back up the MLA

Step 1 Go to C:\Ciscowebs\MLA\install directory.

Step 2 Run the backup.bat with the directory and filename where you want the database to be backed up. Use the SQL system administrator user password (sa).

Example: backup.bat c:\backup MLADBbkup ****

As an FYI: I was informed by Cisco TAC on this that separate MLA Backups are no longer required after UCM 3.3. It will be covered in both BARS and DMA.
