PPP Multilink over ATM question

I'am using eigrp as my routing protocol. I have two sites with 2 ATM PVC links. One with 24MB and other with 40MB.

I would like to create a PPP Multilink by dividing this bandwith into 4 16MB Links.

Which benefits could it give to my network?

Which recomendations can you give to me?

Thanks

Regards

That is not really possible as there is too much difference between the PVC speeds. If you adjust with your ATM SP to have them of equal speed, something can be done.

I will adjust to the same speed my pvc's. What can I do then?

Thanks

Regards

Encapsulation PPP and multilink on them.

The PVC need to terminate on the same router.

But, if you can get two pvcs of a certain speed, why not getting a single one of twice the speed and make everything easier ?

Ok this is the point What benefits can I get by using Multilink (4 pvc same speed ex: 4 x 16 Mbps) or using one pvc at the same speed (64 Mbps?)

No benefit, rather an increase in overhead, cpu processing, and additional configuration.
