Hello,
I've done some testing with an RPS 2300 and a C2950G-24
When I disconnect the AC power cable of the 2950 "simulating a power problem", the RPS takes over.
When the AC power comes back, the 2950 doesn't switch back to the AC source.
The command "sh env all" on the 2950, shows "Internal POWER supply is FAULTY"
Can I kind of clear the internal powersupply ?
Thanks in advance!

You need the E-series switch to do that. As far as I know the only way to cut back over to the switches PS is to power cycle the RPS.

Hi Collin
Thank you.
Yes, that's correct. Unfortunatley power cycling the RPS restarts the attached 2950! Also power cycling the 2950 recovers from that situation. Sounds like the RPS is not-so-redundant in terms of 2950.
Does there exist any documentation describing this "redundancy hole" ?
