According to this report:
It stated that the Cisco 3845 can push 45Mbps VPN traffics. If that is true,
according to my diagram, I can push 45mbps of ftp traffic across the IPSec
VPN tunnel between the checkpoint
firewall and the Cisco 3845, correct?
I am not seeing anywhere near that.
Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

Hi,
You have 45Mbps P2P link between CP NGX and 3845? Your diagram show that both connected to internet, there is no end-to-end QoS guarantee in the internet.
If you have that bandwidth end-to-end, try using AES rather than 3DES.

I used the Internet as an example. I have an
OC-3 P2P between the Checkpoint firewall and
the Cisco 3845. Furthermore, I am using
AES-128/sha-1 with DH group 5.
I am not seeing the throughput anywhere
near 45Mbps as the document claimed.
