DHCP not working on new AP521G

We have a brand new AP521G (the stand-alone one) and when we connect it to an Ethernet port it does not seem to attempt to get an address from either of our Windows DHCP servers. As a result we cannot connect to configure it with the CCA. This new AP is connected directly to a working port that connects directly to the same switch that one of the DHCP servers is on. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks...

Check if you are able to ping the DHCP server and the access point. Check if the DHCP is configured right to assign the ip addresses to the clients from access point.

Thank you for your reply!

The problem we are having is actually before any clients can connect to the AP. The AP itself, once connected to the network, does not appear to even ask for a DHCP address. The DHCP server works fine from that port, as my laptop gets an address without issue. Any other ideas?

We finally found an issue with the DHCP overwriting the handed-out IP. Essentially, there is a bug where DHCP actually handed out the same IP address to two people, causing the last one (the AP) to be rejected without any logging or anything. Anyway, it's fixed. Thanks for the help...
