I have a setup shown in the diagram. The speed and duplex are hard coded
on both the server and the Cisco 7140 and the switchport on the blade.
Servers are hard coded to 1000-full and Cisco 7140 is hard code to 100-full.
Same thing on the Catalyst 6506 blade.
When I performed iperf between linux_1 and linux_2, I get 890Mbps.
That is what I expected. However, when I performed iperf between linux_1
and Linux_3 or Linux2 and Linux_3, I only get about 30mbps throughput.
I thought that I should get much higher throughput than that, like
90Mpbs or something like that but I am maxing out at 30mbps.
Configuration on the Cisco 7140 is very simple:
interface F0/0
ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0
ip address 192.168.2.1 255.255.255.0 secondary
speed 100
duplex full
no shut
There is no other configuration on this device.

Furthermore, CPU on the Cisco 7140 hit 100%
utilization. at 30mbps.
Is this "normal" on the Cisco 7140 at 30mpbs throughput? Thanks.

It is looking like the packets are getting encrypted and decrypted and getting incremented also. It seems to be a local problem.
