no, the AD integration is not mandatory. the steps change depending on which version you're using so be sure to use the right documentation

if CUCM 5.x or 6.x make sure you add the user to the user group for CCM admin.

if any previous version make sure to add it to the superuser group to have the same privileges as the CCMAdministrator accounr.

what document are you following?

is it for your CUCM version?

hello,

thanks for your reply, the version of CUCM is 4.1. i have done what you said, but it doesn't work. It's strange!

just to be sure, is this the doc you followed:

Multilevel Administration Access

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/4_1_3/ccmsys/a02mla.html

Multilevel Administration Access Configuration

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/4_1_3/ccmcfg/b07mla.html

other than adding the user to a user group there is nothing really special about MLA with DCD or AD.

what do u have under the MLA parameters?
