Hi!
I would like all the IP phones registered in the CM to have the logo company as the background image. Phone users have already that image as a choice in their phones. I would like to force that image on all phones from the CM instead being the phone users to have to choose the image. Is it possible to change the default background image or is there any other way that I could accomplish my goal?
Thanks,
Ana

good morning to you! this has been discussed before and unfortunately there is not a way at this time to set a background image. Maybe though you can set the idle value in your parameters so that after a certain time (1-2) seconds your logo will pop onto the screen until you exit. Some users though will find this annoying because they will have to exit the picture before doing anything else.

Thanks for your help.
By the way, do you know if this will be possible for CM6.1?

unfortunately that's not available in any CUCM or CME release.

Ivan this is a very common request:
Take a look at:

Officially there's no way to push this from CUCM. But with some scripting and the use of the phone SDK you should be able to do it. Look at this great post.

Completely off the record I'm working on a small java tool myself to automate this, but it should be a few days before anything is assembled.
