Hi all.
I'm having an issue all our 3750's (45 in total) connected to our 6509's (CatOS).
The 3750's are connected to the 6509s via fibre. on G1/0/1 and G1/0/4, using flexlink, G1/0/1 is that active link
On every switch, G1/0/1 shows input/CRC errors.... the 6509 doesnt show any output errors
It increments by one every 30 seconds.
from 3750:
5 minute output rate 2000 bits/sec, 2 packets/sec
125097 packets input, 40908607 bytes, 0 no buffer
Received 121817 broadcasts (0 multicast)
0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles
113 input errors, 113 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored
from the 6509:
(enable) sh port counters 7/13
Port Align-Err FCS-Err Xmit-Err Rcv-Err UnderSize
----- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------
7/13 0 0 0 0 0
Port Single-Col Multi-Coll Late-Coll Excess-Col Carri-Sen Runts Giants
----- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- --------- --------- ---------
7/13 0 0 0 0 0 0 -
Port Last-Time-Cleared
----- --------------------------
config on 3750:
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,10,555,600
switchport mode trunk
switchport nonegotiate
switchport backup interface Gi1/0/4
udld port aggressive
I've test new fibre, new SFP and Gbics.
Disable CDP.. but still getting errors
any help would be appreciated

Mark:
What are your speed and duplex settings on both ends?
Do you auto-negotiate or hard code?
Are you consistent?

Mark, just curious if you found a solution to this. I have also seen this behavior, I'm not sure what's causing it.

u can check same fiber on other port and then check if u recieving crc. if this is confirmed.
