CISCOWORKS LMS 2.5 SP2

Hi,

This apps were running smoothly, but after a suddenly power cut off that affected the server (standalone), it was not possible to loggin again.

We got the login screen, but after typing user/passwd, a blank screen (done) appears, and nothing else.

Every process is running normally, except Process= EssMonitor, which Info = ESS is fully up now !

Can you guide me to solve this?

Thank you very much

regdaemon.xml has been corrupted. It is no longer well-formed XML. It was probably truncated in the power hit. If you do not have a known good LMS backup, you will need to uninstall and reinstall LMS from scratch. You will not be able to preserve your data since restoring this regdaemon.xml file will corrupt any future installations as well.

May be this is a clue to solve the problem?

Thank you very much

It looks like your NMSROOT\MDC\etc\regdaemon.xml file has become corrupt. Please post this file. If the information in this file is too sensitive to post on an open forum, then open a TAC service request, and include this information.

Hi jclarke (plesantly owed with your fast and competent responses),

Here is the NMSROOT\MDC\etc\regdaemon.xml

(I read your respose to che_candeloza, and may be it's a good time to upgrade 2.6). But anyway I would like to get a precise diagnostic to this problem.

By the way, here is also the error.log file (only from some days after the the problem ocurred 13/mar), because there are some error and deny lines that could be meaningful for you.

Thank you very much

Julio
