This is a 1310 running 124-10b that I just got (Refurb). I didn't watch the bootup before upgrading IOS on it, however my other 1310 does not have this issue, which is running the same IOS level. Right before boot is executed on startup, I get the following:
Unable to get our ip address: no "IP_ADDR" variable set
The system has been encountered and error initializing
tftp file system. The system is ignoring the error and
continuing boot. If you interrupt the system boot process,
the following commands will set IP_ADDR, DEFAULT_ROUTER
and NETMASK environment variables, initializing tftp file
system, and finish loading the operating system software:
set IP_ADDR
set DEFAULT_ROUTER
set NETMASK
tftp_init
It then continues with the boot process and all seems well. I would feel more comfortable obviously not having these messages before I deploy.
thanks,
Keith
