Reverse route Injection

I have version 7.2(1) on asa 5510. Due to reverse route putting a static route on my routing table. When the tunnel goes away shouldn't the static route go away also?

I have also seen that when we configure RRI for 'Remote access VPN',static routes are only created when VPN is UP

But, for L2L VPN static routes will be added even before establishing the VPN.I dont see any problem because of this nature.

Please send me the running configuration and "Show ver" of the Router where the VPN connection is terminating on. I need to see where the RRI commands are placed in the crypto map.

Thanks for the reply i actually have seen that there was a configuration problem on the ASA that caused the problem. The reverse route is not needed now.
