unable to session into wireless controller on 3750G

I am installing a 3750G with the integrated wireless controller for a customer and I am unable to session into the wireless controller from the command line of the switch. I receive the following message:

Sorry, telnet is not allowed on this port!

The switch is is running 12.2(35)SE5 and is part of a switch stack with a 3750G-12S. The 3750G-12S is the master of the stack. I am issuing the following command:

session 1 processor 1

Then I get the error message. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Did you configure the WLC and enable telnet?

Hmmm... I was trying to access the controller via the telnet session in order to do just that. Perhaps it is a cart before the horse scenario. I can get in on the console.. I'll do it that way. Thanks.

Yeah... console into the 3750G WLC and configure that first. Once you have it on the network, then you can GUI and finish up the configuration unless you are familiar with the WLC CLI.
