Hi,
I have 2 sites interconnected via Fiber ( 1km) which trunk 4 vlans, the both site are on the same subnet.
the fiber is connected on catalyst 3550 on the central site and the catalyst 2960 on the branch site.
i need to configure VPN IPSEC lan-To-LAN using ADSL connection between 2 sites to backup my fiber connection when its down.
please advice if you have a solution to backup my fiber connection with VPN TUNNEL?

Hi,
if i use a router with ios adv.security which is configured my ipsec vpn and its connected to my switch.
how can i configure my vpn tunnel like a backup of my trunk fiber?

Hi Hassan,
As I know, a VPN connection can not act like/be/backup a trunk link. You can open up a question as "Backup trunk link over S2S VPN" in "Network Infrastructure" in "WAN Routing & Switching" section to make sure.
A workaround would be configuring Dynamic routing protocols with high costs, but that would not work if you have same VLANs at both sites.
