Caller ID on the call waiting call...possible?

Guys,

I have a 2811 gateway with FXO ports in which I have plugged in a regular analog POTS line in one port. I am using Cisco UCM v6.1 on the backend for call processing.

Since I have call waiting service from the Telco, I would like to configure it so that caller ID shows up on the call waiting call on the incoming FXO port.

Currently, caller ID only shows up on the 1st call, but I only hear a "beep" when the 2nd call comes in--there is no caller ID.

Is there a workaround for this? It is an H.323 gateway.

Im not for sure on this, but I think you would actually have to pay for call waiting caller-id on that POTS line for that to work, similar to a home phone. Check with your telco to see

I failed to mention this service is already subscribed. it's been working fine with my standalone analog phone for years. but if I try connecting it to the FXO ports is when the 2nd caller ID doesn't work.

anyone have any other ideas?
